Lattice Technology Group, Inc. 19775 Belmont Executive Plaza Suite 330 Ashburn, VA 20147-7606 Michael Valmont 703 466 0488 ext. 112

Lattice Technology Group, Inc. (LatticeTech) is a consulting firm specializing in Systems Engineering, Information Systems Integration, and Test & Evaluation. Our technical and management experts provide assistance to corporate and government staff responsible for integrating multiple information sources to achieve collaborative planning, operations, analysis, and exploitation. We help our clients plan, design, build, test and evaluate network-centric and horizontally-integrated information structures, which may include air, space, and ground sensor systems as well as other non-sensor sources. Our expertise and support enables clients to create exciting new insight, knowledge, and understanding from their information systems, and dramatically improve overall mission capability.

LatticeTech has extensive experience supporting research & development and acquisition management, with an emphasis in test and evaluation. LatticeTech personnel have provided technology integration and systems engineering support across the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and commercial arenas, including such organizations as National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and others. LatticeTech has a broad background in sensor development and testing, large pilot/prototype management, architecture framework development, systems integration, data standards development, and interoperability technologies.

Lattice Technology Group provided Systems Architect and Project Management support to the Under Secretary of Defense (USD) Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (AT&L) Horizontal Integration Working Group (HIWG), through the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Interoperability Action Team (NIAT). The purpose of the HIWG is to identify process improvements, non-materiel and materiel solutions aimed at creating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) interoperability throughout the Department of Defense (DoD) and providing key input to the Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA). This scope includes seven UAS platforms across the Air Force, Army, Marines, and Navy. LatticeTech also provided project management support to the HIWG by participating in Statement of Work (SOW) development, project plan creation and maintenance, Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) development, and status reporting.

LatticeTech also provided NGA with vital leadership within its newly-created Military Readiness Plans and Experiments Division (MRPD). MRPD is the Face of NGA for experiments & demonstrations (E&D) with the responsibility to supply management, security, and network support for internal and external NGA-sponsored initiatives. LatticeTech held positions of demonstration lead for Empire Challenge 10 (EC10), co-lead for Trident Warrior 10 (TW10), team member for Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) and Trident Spectre, and coordinator for the GEOINT Working Group (GWG). In addition, LatticeTech provided systems engineering and test support during Trident Warrior Valiant Shield FLEX.

LatticeTech currently provides subject matter expertise to NGA and NATO for the development of key ISR data standards, serving as Technical Lead for the NATO Standardization Agreement (STANAG) 4607 Ground Moving Target Indicator Format (GMTIF) and the STANAG 4676 NATO ISR Tracking Standard, (NITS) and providing subject matter expertise for the development of STANAG 4609 Motion Imagery Standard Video MTI (VMTI) engineering guidance specification. LatticeTech personnel were key members in the development of the original STANAG 4607 and 4676 standards, and currently lead the continued development and governance for these standards. LatticeTech also provides Secretariat support for NATO Imagery Working Group (IMWG) under the Joint Capability Group ISR (JCGISR). In addition, LatticeTech provides subject matter expertise to the US Surface/Ground Moving Target Indicator (S/GMTI) Community of Practice (CoP), providing consulting and advisory services on functional management activities for S/GMTI across the DoD/IC community.

LatticeTech planned, supported and executed multiple trials, demonstrations and exercises, including the Multi-sensor Aerospace-Ground Joint ISR Interoperability Coalition 2 (MAJIIC2) Technical Interoperability Experiment (TIE) in March 2012, Unified Vision 2012 (UV12) in June 2012, and the MAJIIC2 Multi-Intelligence All-Source Joint Exercise 2012 (MAJEX) in September 2012.

LatticeTech currently serves as Technical Lead for the upcoming Unified Vision 2014 ISR Tracking Initiative. This effort is a follow-on to UV12, and represents NATOs premier ISR demonstration/evaluation event involving sensor technologies and participants from over 15 different NATO Nations. LatticeTech personnel are leading the planning, resourcing, and coordination for the multi-INT ISR tracking effort – one of NATO’s key initiatives to support the development and fielding of new ISR fusion capabilities.
