Solutions from Past Wins

ATP's team is comprised of experienced, accomplished engineers who have been privy to participate in some of the industry's most coveted opportunities, allowing us to boast DAWIA-III certification in Acquisition Program Management, experiences as customer advocates at various Agencies, and having performed computer network installs both locally and abroad. These unique experiences and successes allow us to provide desirable solutions for our client's most challenging systems, software, network and acquisition problems.

ATP's "First-Pass" Concept

One hallmark of the ATP spirit is an unwavering commitment to a concept called "first-pass success." This concept calls for a commitment to the identification (and oft times implementation) of desirable solutions to a client's engineering, acquisition and program management problems - all in a program's first iteration cycle. ATP has had the chance to demonstrate the first-pass success concept in both software and systems environments in capacities from lay engineers to system leads. ATP members have found that this mantra leads to lasting results that are both time-efficient and cost-effective.

ATP's "first-pass" success is made possible by engineering professionals who remain at the heart of technical designs, yet are able to work hand-in-hand with technical and non-technical clients alike.

Members of ATP have helped narrow the government contractor selection process. Specifically, ATP's key members of management were recently called in to make a key decision in the selection process of a $20 million, eight-month effort.

Troy Bundy - Managing Principal

Troy naturally excelled at both math and engineering sciences early on and developed a strong appreciation for both after being introduced to the subjects by his father and late grandfather while still in elementary school. By the time he reached high school, Troy was accepted into a selective program with the (DOD) where he served as an engineering apprentice. His accomplishments in high school in this area prompted the DOD to award him the Undergraduate Training Program (UTP) scholarship to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he majored in both electrical engineering and computer science. During the summers, Troy worked at various offices at the DOD and upon graduation from MIT in 1993, he joined the DOD full-time, working on embedded systems control projects and unix-based software application/database projects. In 1996, he joined TRW Space Systems for a short time, where he performed software development in C++. From there, Troy transitioned to Conquest, Inc. where he was the fourth employee hired and where he stayed for 7 years, through the acquisition of the company by the Boeing Corporation. While at Conquest, he played a key role in one of the industry's most noted "Cinderella stories," with Conquest starting out small and growing to become a huge success. While at Conquest, Troy was imbued in high technology areas such as client/server software development using Java/J2EE/WebServices/C++/SQL in both Unix and Windows environments. He also conducted system integration of diverse complex electronic systems for a number of years and was appointed to lead roles on different projects in these capacities. Troy also played a role in Conquest's business development. Throughout the course of all of this, he worked part-time consulting after-hours in several ventures (especially during the age of the dot-com craze) and he recently acquired a masters degree in computer science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Troy will now use his experiences and successes to propel ATP to the forefront, making it one of fastest growing defense contracting firms in this region.
